March 13th - All-School Talent Show 2026
Important dates:
SIGN UPs: week of 2/27 - Sign up forms in the music room or office.
DEADLINE: 3/5 Sign ups due by 4:00.
AUDITION TIMES: 3/6 Times will be emailed home.
AUDITIONS: 3/10 and 3/11 - after school in the music room.
The Show:
The judges must narrow the hours of auditions down to a one hour show balanced with all ages and talents. The show will be presented for the student body on Friday, March 13th. *4th-6th 9:30-10:30 and 1st-3rd 11:00-12:00. Parents of participants will be invited.

MUSIC ♫ must be:
Sent to gina.spengler@boiseschools.org with your child’s name.
*Please send an MP3 or YouTube link
Time limit is 2.5 minutes. (closer to 2 minutes is even better)
Costumes are encouraged.
Present the act exactly as it would be in the show. (we need an exact timing)
Be prepared that you may not make it! It does not mean you are not talented! The judges have a difficult job, please be understanding. ♥
No singing along with the vocals in a recording! If you sing, please have an instrumental background, piano accompaniment, or sing without music. You can find a track if you search for your song name + “Karaoke” or “instrumental”.
Dancers may use music with words but lyrics and moves must be appropriate for school. (No bad words, drugs/alcohol reference, inappropriate relationships, etc.) This is not always easy! Bring lyrics to Mrs. Cecil or Mrs. Spengler to be previewed ahead of time if there are any concerns.
Be creative! We love skits, dances, singers, instruments, jokes, story telling, magic, etc. Make your act unique and fun!
